Lies about product availability

Ordered a product and had my CC charged right away. Didn't get anything further for ~2 business days until I opened a ticket.
~1 business day later, I get this canned response:
"We apologize that you didn't get an automated email regarding the status of your order. There is a current strain on manufacturers, and we ran out of stock before we were able to fill your order. We should have more coming within 2-3 weeks. You are still in our queue, and we will immediately ship as soon as it becomes available, or we can cancel the order if you would prefer. We apologize for the inconvenience."

Item still shows "in stock" on their website. If I actually get the item, I'll put an extra star on here (taking it to 2), but lying about product availability is not a good look at all.


Paper in stock, but actually not

I ordered paper, waited three days before emailing them asking "When will this ship?" to which I was told it was out of stock, even though the website said "in stock." I asked if they would substitute a different brand of the same style paper, which they said they would not. Talk about terrible service.


Items that "In Stock" are rarely available

Items that are "In Stock" are rarely available. If you can wait for backorders they are OK but you will be waiting a few weeks to ship. Also the customer service number is just a message to email them. I get the same response every time "We apologize, our warehouse ran out of stock before we were able to fill your order. This item is on backorder with an ETA of 1-2 weeks." BlueDogink is more of a middleman for real sellers and they don't what's in stock or the condition of the items. Good Luck


They charge you for product that doesn't ship!

Purchased a printer that was listed "in stock" on their web site. The moment I placed my order, they charged my credit card, even though they had not shipped anything. A week later, and my order still shows as "pending" even though their site claims orders ship in 24 hours. Numerous calls to their phone number just get a recorded message. Their mail address is for a UPS Store mail box in a strip mall. I am disputing the charge with my credit card company since I can't reach anyone at Bluedogink.


Ordered a new HP battery from their…

Ordered a new HP battery from their website on 11/17/20. Items shows in stock. After several calls and promises from them still no product and its now 2 months later. They have already pulled the money from my account!


Buyer beware

I orderd a HP combo ink pack. My credit card was charged and a few days later, the ink arrived. In the box were 2 magenta and 2 cyan. No combo packs, no yellow. I contacted customer support and they told me HP is not manufacturing the combo packs. If that is the case, WHY are they available for purchase on the Bluedogink site? They also told me the yellow cartridges would be delivered yesterday. Still nothing....buyer beware.


Slow to act

Purchased a printer at competitive price and it was shipped very promptly. It arrived damaged and I immediately informed Bluedog Ink with pictures.
They apologized and promptly stated they will give me a return label to return it. It's been 10 days and I interact with them daily asking for an update. They repeatedly state I should receive the shipping label very soon but I never receive it.
If you are lucky enough to receive an undamaged item then price-wise Bluedog Ink looks to be a good vendor. If it arrives damaged then you are stuck with the hassle which makes any price savings not worth it.
Happy to update my review when I receive a return shipping label.


Rip off!!

Rip off!!! They owe me $45 refund for ink I never received... have written many emails, they promise action, nothing, 3 months later!!!!!


Horrible Company

I ordered ink from Blue Dog over 10 days ago and still have not received it. I called and left a message with no response back . I only wish I had read the previous rotten reviews of this company. Buyer Beware !


SO DISAPPOINTED WITH BLUEDONINK

My experience has been like several other recent negative reviewers. New out of box HP INKJET PRINTER received with printhead problem. Reported it the same day to customer service to return item and request return label. 10 days later, despite daily calls/emails to customer service (no one answers their customer service line), no return label. I paid $65 out of pocket to ship return. Prices are great UNLESS YOU HAVE A DEFECTIVE PRODUCT AND REQUIRE CUSTOMER SUPPORT.

I ordered a printer a week ago and I can't get in touch with anyone over to the phone to confirm that it has shipped. The status of my order says "Pending".


Preying On Inexperienced Shoppers

Lists back-ordered inventory as in-stock to get your money and makes the refund/cancellation process impossible. Since they don't allow PayPal payments, you have to file a case with your credit card company. It looks like the money they steal from customers is applied to reduce prices so they can get more orders.


When it comes to defective products, they have no integrity

When it comes to returns and defective products, this company has no integrity or responsiveness. I purchased a defective imaging drum in November, identified the defect within two weeks of purchase, and then spent the next six weeks being strung along by customer service. They acknowledged the defect in the first call, but first tried to tell me I needed to contact the manufacturer in Japan for a refund. A refund of what, exactly? My transaction was with Blue Dog Ink, not Okidata, and it was Blue Dog Ink holding the money I paid for this defective item. As a distributor, it is Blue Dog's responsibility to pursue compensation from the manufacturer, not mine. This being a ridiculous suggestion, they quickly changed their position and promised to authorize the return, but then took two weeks to actually submit the RMA and provide a return label by email. They shipped the return via the slowest (and, I'm sure, cheapest) domestic shipping service available which took 17 days to reach their warehouse, then sat on my return for another 10 days despite follow-up on my end. Every communication was met with vague excuses, inadequately explained delays, and unfulfilled promises of action. Ultimately, I had to file a consumer complaint with the Florida Attorney General in order to get my refund processed.
